Nicholas Peri Samuels, of Weston, Massachusetts, perished in an accident in Morgan, Vermont on Tuesday April 19th, in a place that he loved and where he made enduring memories.

Nicholas's time on earth was tragically cut short. He was a vibrant 29 year-old intellectual and outdoorsman who loved life and lived it to its fullest. A graduate of Sunny Hill pre-school, Claypit Hill Elementary, Wayland Middle School, Wayland High School and the University of Colorado at Boulder, Nicholas's curiosity grew exponentially as a young adult. He was an avid reader who understood and admired the power of science, discovery and technology.

For the past six years, Nicholas was a devoted employee of Tesla and an ambassador for their mission. This was a passion project for him.

Nicholas cultivated meaningful relationships with his many friends and his eleven cousins, which energized him and channeled his positive spirit.

He is survived by his parents, Luly and Maurice Samuels of Weston, his older brother, Michael of Los Angeles, California, his younger brother, William of New York, New York; his grandmother, Stella (nee Flader) Samuels of Montreal, Canada; his grandfather, Laureano Peri of Haymarket, Virginia; his uncle, Les Samuels, aunt Jen Golfman, uncle Benjy Samuels, aunt Kayla Samuels Reiner, uncle Tom Reiner, aunt Marta Peri, aunt Anna Osmond and their families. Nicholas was the beloved grandson of the late Marta Peri and the late Kalman Samuels, Q.C.  Nicholas will be missed by his family, friends and colleagues who will keep him with them in their thoughts and prayers.

Plans for Nicholas's Life Celebration are in process.
